IK Multimedia has announced Miroslav Philharmonik 2, the latest version of their groundbreaking orchestral software instrument. Renowned musician Miroslav Vitous was one of the pioneers in the field of orchestral sampling, creating one of the early libraries for composers and producers; that library captured the living, breathing sound of an orchestra and its instruments and made it accessible to users everywhere. With each generation that library has improved, and now we have IK’s amazing Miroslav Philharmonik 2, a visionary new virtual instrument featuring expertly performed musical articulations, from staccatos to legatos, pianissimos to fortissimos. The amount of power contained in Philharmonik 2, but its best feature is how easy it is to use to create realistic, lifelike performances. Coming in at 55GB of samples with more than 2,500 instruments, all captured at high-definition quality with stunning dynamics and detail. Plus, you get more than 30 high-quality effects derived from SampleTank 3 and T-RackS for scuplting the sonics to perfection.
Miroslav Philhamonik 2 will be released in mid-December, but you can pre-order your copy now exclusively through Sweetwater! It will be delivered as soon as the software is released. Upgrades are available from the original Miroslav Philharrmonik and from SampleTank 3 and paid versions of SampleTank 3 SE. Crossgrades from select products are also available.
