Mesa/Boogie has released four new pedals aimed at helping guitars players optimize their tone and manage difficult signal situations.
First up, we have the Stowaway, a compact input buffer for pedalboards. The Stowaway 100% discrete Class A circuitry for clean and efficient signal conditioning. It provides an ideal, consistent, and constant load for the guitar — no matter how many pedals or cables are between the instrument and the amp — for direct-to-the-amp feel and tone.

Next, we have High-Wire, a dual buffer with extended features. The High-Wire conditions your signal in two places: between your guitar and your pedalboard/effects, and between your pedalboard/effects and your amp — it’s an input and an output buffer in one compact box. But it doesn’t stop there. The High-Wire also has extended, super-handy features:
- Dedicated tuner output
- Footswitchable mute
- 3dB level comp switch for compensating for signal level lost due to long cable runs
- Footswitchable boost with up to 22dB

Rounding the new offerings out are the Clearlink Send and Clearlink Receive. The combination of these two boxes allows you to send your guitar signal over very long cables without noise or signal loss issues — up to 330 feet! Other features include 9-volt power pass-through for powering other pedals, an unbalanced out for long cable runs to your amplifier, ground lift to prevent hum, polarity invert, and an adjustable output level control.
