Martin just sent us their D-18 guitar, a 14-fret Dreadnought that goes a long way towards demonstrating why Martin is the leader when it comes to classic American acoustics – not that there was much doubt about that in the first place. This model was first introduced in 1931 and remains a favorite among guitarists of all styles because of its especially big, clear, powerful sound.
