It’s The Bomb!
All Bomb Factory products now support sample rates up to 96k in Digital Performer, Pro Tools HD (Mac/Win), and Digi 002 (Mac/Win). There are no “upsampling” tricks or other tomfoolery: the products truly run at 96k. In addition the full delay times of products like the Tel-Ray and Moogerfooger Delay are fully maintained in the HD version. In order to add 96k support, each of Bomb Factory’s models was re-analyzed, re-modeled, re-designed and re-tested from scratch in order to provide the most authentic sound at each of the new sample rates.
In addition, all twenty-one (21) Bomb Factory plug-ins have been optimized for the latest PC and Mac processors. As just one example, you now get over one hundred (100) instances of the Bomb Factory Pultec or the Bomb Factory 1176 on generation-old Macs. TDM users benefit as well: Bomb Factory plug-ins on Pro Tools HD now offer 2 to 3 times the instance count of Pro Tools MIX systems on each HD card.
As another bonus, an enhanced “No-Knobsense” user-interface allows users to select a rotary or slider-style knob interface when controlling the plug-ins.
Version 3.0 is a free update for existing customers who use the products at sample rates up to 48k. Customers wishing to add 96k capability or Pro Tools HD support may upgrade online for a modest fee.
