Korg PA Series Updates
If you own one of Korg’s fantastic Pa60s or Pa80s, then we have good news for you! Korg has posted updates for both of these pro keyboards that add the following features:
1) In the Style Record mode, you can copy the key of one track to all other tracks of the same Chord Variation. This is a real time saver when programming your own Styles. In addition, this feature prevents individual tracks from playing separate keys in the same Chord Variation. While in the Style Record mode, hold down the shift key and press one of the VOLUME/VALUE buttons to copy the key of the selected track to all the other tracks playing the same Chord Variation.
2) Another new feature in the Style Record mode is the “ToTrk” (To Track) parameter that has been added to the Page 8 – Edit: Copy command. In the Previous O.S., the copy feature could only copy data within a track. Now you can use this new feature to double a part on different tracks.
3) A new footswitch feature has been added. In the Global Mode you can now assign the “Chord Latch + Damper” function to either the footswitch (Pa60 & Pa80) or to the optional EC5 (Pa80 only)
