The iPod batteries, like those in your laptop, have gotten better and better over the years, but we still wish we had a bit more “juice.” If you’re listening to higher quality songs and audiobooks (let’s say 8 – 9 MB or more), your battery has to work harder. If you leave on the “Clicker,” the backlight, or the equalizer, these also consume energy much faster than if you have all of these switched off.
