While there is not a dedicated record button on the Motor Mix, you can get there with a few steps. To initiate recording from the Motor Mix, arm the tracks on which you wish to record, then enter into “Transport Mode” by simultaneously pressing the SHIFT and transport (PLAY) buttons on Motor Mix. The SELECT buttons below the LCD screen will become Transport Control buttons, and the “RECORD” button is among them. While this may take a few extra steps, once you do it a few times you will get much faster with it.
