Timbral Research has released Impulsive Studio Essentials, a collection of impulse responses for convolution reverbs. TR’s Impulsive has long been the “gold standard” of impulse response collections, offering IRs created using the company’s exclusive Realvolution process to precisely recreate the sound of hardware reverbs. Impulsive Studio Essentials narrows the focus onto just what today’s recording studio needs for modern productions.
Impulsive Studio Essentials features more than 600 impulse responses taken from the most famous high-end hardware reverbs, all of which can be used with any convolution reverb plug-in that can import external IRs. Stereo and surround operation are supported. Impulsive Studio Essentials was created using Avid Space (with support for Pro Tools 11), but may be used with any DAW or plug-in format.
