While there are several Web search engines, Google has consistently been getting high ratings lately from users. Now, they’re adding a new feature that provides near-instant, meaningful information about music and recording artists. Just enter the name of any recording star or song into Google’s search engine and you’ll get your results via a newly designed “one box” at the top of the page beside a musical notes icon. These results are displayed when the Google system determines that a query may be related to a band, individual artist, a song name, or even specific lyrics. Results will include links to online sources for music downloads like Apple’s iTunes Music Store, Real, and eMusic, as well as retailers who offer CDs – Google actually has access to in-store inventory and only returns a dealer link if the item is actually in stock.
