Glyph has announced the GPT50 series of external hard drives, which offer production-quality storage in 100% recyclable packaging with advanced cooling and no need for a wall wart power supply. Using next-generation Oxford bridge technology, these portable drives are 33% smaller than the GT050Q drives, and feature an internal power supply and a quiet temperature-controlled fan. FireWire 800, USB 2.0, and eSATA connectivity are built-in, and the awesome Glyph 3-2-1 Warranty is included. (1-year advance replacement, 2-year free basic data recovery, and 3-year warranty; some restrictions apply.)

Four sizes are available: 500GB, 1TB, 2TB, and 3TB.
