IK Multimedia knows they have a winner in AmpliTube 2 and now they want you to try it out for free and see if you don’t agree (hint: you will). See, the company has released a fully functioning demo version of AmpliTube 2 that has all the same features as the full version, but is limited to just 30 starts or 10 days (which is plenty of time to get addicted). There’s one caveat, however: The AmpliTube 2 demo version is only available to users equipped with any Syncrosoft USB dongle or “iKey.” The dongle must be present in your computer at the time of installation, or the AmpliTube 2 demo version will not be activated. The Syncrosoft iKey or USB dongle can be found in many recent software packages, including IK’s own Miroslav Philharmonik, as well as the latest software from Apple, MOTU, Steinberg, Arturia, Korg, and so forth. Just between us, you might as well get one, because once you try AmpliTube, you’re going to want it!
