Arturia has announced “Syndrums Vol. 1,” a free expansion pack for their Spark creative drum machine. The expansion pack includes four virtual analog drum synths:
Phatwerk — a huge sounding kit built using a virtual analog modular drum synthesizer. Also includes five different melodic synths.
Micromatix — a “soviet” inspired beatbox aimed at the Minimal and IDM genres.
Pulsator — a sophisticated hybrid drum machine featuring sampled pulse waves processed through virtual analog modules.
Dirty-909 — an ultra-heavy take on the Arturia TR-909 analog emulation.
