The curvature of an instrument’s fingerboard; in the case of a guitar, from low E to high E. The curve of the fingerboard is measured as if the fingerboard were cut from a round rod of wood — if the rod had a radius of 12 inches, this would result in a 12-inch radius fingerboard. The higher the radius, the flatter the fingerboard.
