Sweetwater has a great deal for you on the Apogee Trak2. But before we get to the deal, let’s remind ourselves how cool the Trak 2 is. We’re talking about two world class mic preamps in a box with 2 channels of world class A to D conversion. But it’s NOT a two channel box. The Trak 2 employs an 8-bus architecture, which means you can easily deploy it into a system using Alesis LightPipe I/O and/or Tascam’s TDIF I/O without having to move cables around. Furthermore, you can use it as an 8-channel digital to analog converter (again world class) through use of their 8-channel D to A. This is one of the best all-in-one front ends you can add to your DAW at any price, and now Sweetwater is offering you a killer deal. Buy a Trak 2 and we’ll throw in the 8-channel D to A card (Trak28DA), plus we’ll give you $175 off the price of any other AMBUS card, which means you can add ADAT, TASCAM, AES/EBU, or Pro Tools I/O to it for a fraction of the normal price. Your helpful Sweetwater Sales Engineer will be expecting your call!
