Q: I purchased Propellerhead Reason 7 and am anxiously awaiting the update to Reason 8. But I have a question: Do I have to have the Ignition Key to run Reason 8?
A: The Ignition Key is not required to authorize and run Reason; Reason can run using internet authorization or you can “bless” one computer to run Reason without internet access. However, if you have more than one computer that needs to run Reason, you can easily move authorization from computer to computer with the Ignition Key. (One computer at a time can be authorized to run Reason.) And, if you need to run Reason where there is no internet access or on the road, the Ignition Key is the way to go. It’s a handy solution!
