If you buy any of these in the current version 8.0 today you will receive a free upgrade to version 9.0 when it ships at the end of September. The new upgrade will add many significant enhancements, including a new processing technology for fast effects and zero latency mixing.
For the past two months we’ve been working to put a new and vastly improved phone system in at Sweetwater in order to better serve our constantly growing numbers of clients. After much hammering, soldering, kicking, and making up a few new swear words along the way the system is finally ready to go on line. We will make the cutover this weekend and expect to be back on line Monday with the new system. Our expectation is that this system will dramatically improve our overall effectiveness in handling your phone calls. You should still experience the same human touch we’ve always had with our phones, but we are going to take advantage of new and better technology to automate some functions. It may take some time for all of the effects to become apparent, but one thing you will notice right away is that everyone here will have a new extension. This was necessary in order to organize everything so it makes sense. If you do happen to experience any unusual phone “stuff” with us please let us know so we can get any kinks ironed out as soon as possible.
