With multiple card options and its 8 card slots, this highly configurable unit will accommodate up to:
- 48 channels of A/D and D/A, with optional Mic Pre cards (up to 48 channels utilizing 8- or 2-channel Mic Pres)
- 64 channels of DigiLink (Dual 32 Channel Mini-DigiLink Ports)
- 64 channels via Dante
- 1024 Channels over MADI (192 channels on the chassis)
- 144 Channels of AES/EBU (16 channels on the chassis)
- 128 Channels with the Dual MADI card
- 256 Channels via 3G-SDI (2×16 Channel embed/de-embed w/ SRC)
- 16 Channels via the AES3 card (16 channels per)
The standard unit comes with dual internal power supplies, includes Pro | Mon 2 monitoring and the DADman application, which offers Mac and Windows support. In use, a single workstation can control multiple MTRX units or multiple workstations can have synchronized control of a single MTRX.
