Antares Releases PC-friendly Auto-Tune

Exactly as promised, Antares has released Auto-Tune 5 TDM, RTAS, and VST for PC. Upgrades to Auto-Tune 5 are available for all registered Auto-Tune users. If you purchased and registered a copy of Auto-Tune 4 (including AVOX AT) after September 15, 2006, you are entitled to a free upgrade to Auto-Tune 5. To upgrade, just go to the Antares Software Upgrade page and follow the instructions there. The company actually released the PC RTAS and VST versions last week and if you’ve previously downloaded the initial PC RTAS version (without the auto-scroll button), take note of the maintenance release item below.

* Maintenance releases of Auto-Tune 5 TDM (Mac) and RTAS (Mac and PC) are now available. These releases squash a couple of minor bugs and add the ability to toggle auto-scrolling on and off in Graphical Mode.
These are free updates for current Auto-Tune 5 owners. Equivalent releases for VST and AU will be forthcoming. Meanwhile, you can download the new versions.

* The Pro Tools LE 7.3 release provides Graphical Mode sync in Auto-Tune 5 RTAS. During the development of Auto-Tune 5, Antares worked closely with Digidesign to ensure that all the various new features would work properly in Pro Tools. If you are using Auto-Tune 5 RTAS for either Mac or PC and have not yet upgraded to Pro Tools LE 7.3, the folks at Antares encourage you to do so, because if you use Graphical Mode, the new sync functionality can seriously streamline your workflow.
