Alesis just sent us one of the freakiest things we’ve seen in a while. It’s the AirSynth, and though maybe you heard about it a while ago, it’s just now stepping out into the public eye. This is a very innovative compact table-top synthesizer that you play by passing your hand over the AirSynth’s invisible 3D sphere. No, we’re serious. It’s sort of like a d-beam times a million. You can control up to five sound variables simultaneously by moving your hand left to right, forward and backward, or up and down over the AirSynth. There are over 50 great effects.

For a limited time you get a free copy of VSLogic software with the purchase of a Roland VS1824 recorder. We have heard reports of some users not receiving the coupon with their VS1824. If this happens to you just call Roland at (323) 890-3700 and request your copy (you will need your 1824’s serial number).
