Akai Pro MAX49: CV Out to Effects Pedals

Sweetwater’s Daniel Fisher demos a prototype of the new Akai Pro MAX49 USB/MIDI/CV Keyboard Controller with a quick walkthrough of its parameters and features, and then focuses the remainder of the demo on some of the exciting possibilities offered by the CV (control voltage) output. You can use the CV Out to control the pitch of analog oscillators and filters, and the Gate Out to trigger analog Envelopes. In this video, Daniel is using the CV Out to animate the parameters of various guitar processors via the keyboard and arpeggiator..
