IK Multimedia has announced the next generation of their portable iRig HD interface for Mac, PC, and iOS, the iRig HD 2. iRig HD 2 features high-resolution 24-bit/96kHz audio quality, an integrated 1/8-inch headphone jack that’s perfect for connecting headphones to the new iPhone 7 with superb audio quality — and a 1/4-inch amplifier out. Its super-compact and lightweight form factor that makes it ideal for practicing and recording on the go, as well as for using amp simulator apps and software onstage. To get you started, iRig HD 2 comes with a full version of Amplitube for Mac/PC and iOS. It can even be mounted to a mic stand for onstage use!
