Mobius Filter, the latest plug-in release from iZotope, is designed to provide constant motion effects via perpetually rising and falling filter effects. An X/Y pad controls and manipulates the effects. Offering an alternative to a traditional flanger or phaser, Mobius Filter can add motion and energy to audio with filter sweeps, based on the auditory illusion of the Shepard Tone, named for Roger Shepard. Sweeps can sync to host tempo (eighth notes to eight bars) and can even be controlled by drawing on the X/Y pad for fluid adjustments to both center frequency and resonance.
