An electrical socket into which a vacuum tube is inserted to mount into an electronic device. The tube socket is hardwired into the circuit and contains holes into which the pins of the tube insert creating an electrical connection. A socket is used instead of hardwiring or soldering the tube itself into the device, allowing tubes to be removed and replaced as necessary with no damage or modification required for the device.
