Patchbays are like blue jeans, they never go out of style, and people keep coming up with new and improved versions. This year at NAMM, ART is showing off their new P series patchbays. The P16 is a handy XLR to XLR patchbay, which is a handy way to manage mic preamps and outboard gear with rear-facing XLR jacks, without digging through your rig. The P48 is a 24-pair TRS patchbay. Despite its compact, 1U frame, the P48 has an easily-accessible switch that lets you set half- or full-normal pairing from the front panel.
Art P16 and P48 Patchbays Features:
- All connections made via reliable PCB wiring
- 19-inch 1U-high rack mount with rugged, fully shielded black all-steel enclosure
- P16 has 32 XLR connectors (16 female on front, 16 male on rear) and reversible rack ears
- P48 has 24 TRS pairs (48 points), which can be configured as either half- or fully-normal
- Three year warranty
