New in stock at Sweetwater Sound: Apple’s new supercomputing G4 (400 MHz versions) are in stock. We’ve verified that they work with most of the popular host based hard disk systems (2408, Audiowerk, VST etc.) so we are now declaring it safe to jump into one. The advantages of the Velocity Engine really aren’t being fully exploited by the software yet, but we expect those updates to come soon. From the looks of things the biggest speed advantage is going to show up in plug-in efficiency.
