The new Alesis MasterLink mastering recorder/CD burner is proving to be very successful out of the gate. Users are reporting excellent results with theirs. There are, however, two features advertised with the MasterLink that are not included in the units that are now shipping. The first is “Split” – where you can internally separate a piece of pre-recorded audio. Also missing is its counterpart, “Join” – for joining 2 separately recorded tracks together. Alesis has promised these with the next software update (which is expected to be free). Otherwise this breakthrough product appears to be delivering everything as promised. Call us and get yours now.
