We’ve got a new CD/CD-RW burner from Glyph. The new CDRec8, which is based on the Teac R58S mechanism is an 8x writer, 24x reader that is fully compatible with Digidesign’s MasterList CD for making Red Book compatible CD’s. There is also a bundle version that includes a Plextor mechanism and also comes with Jam and Toast (while still being MasterList compatible).
Are you one of the rare species left who still digs deeply in to your synths and samplers to explore ALL the power they have? Are you creating your own patches and samples on a regular basis? If so, you may be thrilled to know we have a position open in our soundware development facilities. We’re looking for someone competent in most of the major brands of hardware and software based systems to join our team. You’ll be working with the latest and greatest gear all the time (and occasionally with gear that hasn’t been released to the public yet). If you think this spot is for you contact us at Careers@sweetwater.com.

One of the results of this round table is an interesting (well, at least interesting to those who are deeply in to it) white paper on the subject, which is posted at Cakewalk’s Web site.
