Samson’s ultra-cool miniature wireless systems have come to the headset mic. The SWQSCV package includes the AR-1 receiver and AH-1 transmitter, a very small and lightweight head worn microphone. No need for a body pack. All the wireless electronics are right in the headband.
A few words today about sending e-mail to inSync. First, we encourage you to send in your questions and comments. We really like getting your e-mails. We don’t really have time anymore to give individual responses for them all, but we do read every one. Many of the questions we get are used in our TTOTD. There are a few, however, that we like to personally respond to. Maybe it’s a question we can quickly help with, but is not appropriate for inSync. If you send us e-mail please try to use an e-mail address that will work when we respond (reply). Imagine how frustrating it is for your inSync editor to take precious time out of his day for a personal response to you only to have the message bounce back due to an invalid e-mail address.
Another point. We trust inSync is a valuable resource for our readers, but please do not confuse it with real technical support. Many of you are sending in questions that are beyond the scope of inSync. We try to help where feasible, but the volume of these inquiries continues to rise and we feel terrible that you are waiting for us to help with things we may have no intention of really helping you with. If you bought some equipment and it doesn’t seem to work right or you have a specific question about it that is a tech support issue. If you are having trouble with some “concept” that you need to understand better, that is an ideal inSync issue. Sure, there is a lot of overlap and the distinction between the two is admittedly pretty vague, but some of you are clearly trying to use inSync as a tech support resource that it’s not designed to be. Sweetwater has free technical support available for our customers. If you bought something from us and need help we want you to call us. We will work on your problem until it is resolved or we will take the equipment back. If you bought something somewhere else and need help you should call them. If you want to also send inSync an e-mail about it that’s fine, and we’ll get to it if and when we can. We hope this helps everyone know how to best utilize the resources at hand.
