Waldorf continues to turn out innovative synthesizers that have a unique sonic character. The new MicroQ analog modeling module is in stock, but selling so fast we can’t keep up with the supply. And it’s easy to understand why. It has 300 sounds, 25 voices (up to 75 with expansion), great sounding filters, 25 band vocoder, 3 LFOs, 16 apreggiators, and is 95% compatible with its big brother, the Waldorf Q.
A word to the wise. We are all too quickly making our way to the end of the year. Many of you, our loyal customers, start realizing about now that there is only a short span of time remaining in which to buy equipment you can use for 2000 tax write-offs. We are used to getting crunched with these orders the last few days of the year, and we are prepared as always to handle it, but in many cases it is much easier to get things done if you work on it ahead of time. For example, most of the factories that make the stuff we sell (and you buy) shut down between the 25th and 31st of December. Clearly this makes it more difficult for us to perform the miracles we are otherwise willing and able to tackle for you. Most items are in stock and can ship the same day you order them, but there are always exceptions. So please do everyone a favor, sit down and think through it now.
