Pro Tools is used every day in thousands of studios around the world. So when Digidesign announces updated versions of its software, it’s big news! For Pro Tools TDM users, Digidesign has posted 6.9.3cs1 and the 6.9.1cs2, both of which deliver significant fixes which include:
- The Key Command Sequence for Fine-Tuning Automation Breakpoints has changed. The “fine-tune breakpoint” Control key functionality has now been restored to pre-Pro Tools 6.9 behavior.
- After several hours of continuous working, Pro Tools could slow down, stop responding or eventually crash.
- A ProControl Fader could sometimes lose communication with Pro Tools while writing automation.
Digidesign has also posted updates for Pro Tools LE to version 6.9.2 cs3 and version 6.9cs3 respectively. These updates both fix the key command sequence for fine-tuning automation breakpoints, restoring them to the pre-Pro Tools 6.9 behavior. Other key commands have also changed.
