Glyph’s LANdisk is a hard disk-based network storage device that provides file-sharing functions to locally connected computers, and can communicate with computers located remotely via the internet. Basically, LANdisk is a file server; a Linux-based microcomputer. It works equally well on a network with Windows, Mac, Linux, and Unix computers without any special software. Storage capacities up to 400GB are available, and fast 7,200 RPM drives are used. LANdisk is ideal for sharing centralized files such as sound libraries, samples, photos, video, and audio.
