Applied Acoustics Systems has announced the release of Lounge Lizard EP-3 for Mac OS X and Windows systems, the latest upgrade of their hugely popular electric piano virtual instrument software. (The current version is Lounge Lizard EP-2.) Improvements include an extensive new library of presets, a multi-effects module, support for micro-tuning, and improved modeling of the tone and tine bars. Registered users can upgrade to the latest version of Lounge Lizard for just $49, while those who purchased the software after September 1st of 2005 can get their upgrade at no cost. Lounge Lizard EP-3 is available as a standalone version or as a DXi, VST, AudioUnits or RTAS (Mac OSX only) plug-in.
