True to their original promise to continually improve and upgrade the operating system of their Fusion 8HD and Fusion 6HD keyboard workstations, Alesis just announced the availability of Version 1.21, which adds pattern-based sequencing to the Fusion’s already formidable arsenal of creative tools. Fusion owners can also loop any section within a sequence and then record new MIDI tracks while the sequencer is looping. Throughout the month of February, Alesis will also provide free downloads of new sounds, including Hollow Sun 01, a collection of popular electronic piano sounds, electronic strings, and classic synthesizer sounds.
