Arturia has announced the upcoming release of a powerful, yet extremely user-friendly virtual instrument that comes fully loaded with 2,000 legendary synthesizer sounds that changed the face of modern music production. From classic lead lines to crystalline pads, Arturia’s Analog Factory offers contemporary musicians an amazingly selection of diverse timbres. An intelligent Preset Manager allows users to locate desired sounds from within the huge collection with just a few mouse clicks and all sounds can be dramatically modified. Analog Factory has been developed using TAE, Arturia’s proprietary Technology for Analog Emulation. It will be available in July 2006 as a Mac or PC standalone, as well as VST, Audio Units, and RTAS (ProTools 6 and 7) plug-ins for $249. Just a few of the features include:
- 2,000 presets from the Arturia Classic Synths (Minimoog V, Moog
Modular V, CS-80V, ARP 2600 V, Prophet V and Prophet VS). - Smart Preset Manager locates presets by Instrument, by Type (Bass, Pads, Leads, etc.) and/or by Characteristics (hard, soft, complex, simple, short, long, etc.).
- Presets can be viewed by Name, Instrument, Type, CPU usage, Favorites, or User Presets and can be easily edited and personalized.
- Eight Snapshot buttons quickly store up to eight presets for sound comparisons, variations and so forth.
- Up to 32 voices of polyphony, depending on the preset loaded.
