According to Apple, CEO Steve Jobs will headline a team of Apple executives and product specialists to kick off the company’s annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) with an exclusive keynote preview of Mac OS X “Leopard” on Monday, August 7, 2006, beginning at 10:00 AM at San Francisco’s Moscone West. Software developers will receive detailed information on creating Universal applications that take full advantage of Intel-based Mac performance, with special sessions on performance optimization using Apple software development tools. The 5-day event, which runs from August 7 to 11, will deliver more than 175 technical sessions and labs with new content that includes a preview of Leopard plus dozens of hands-on labs providing opportunities to work directly with Apple engineers.
