Cakewalk announced that a web page designed to provide the ultimate resource on Windows Vista and the benefits it provides to the audio community has gone live. There you’ll find links to hardware and software products that offer native support in Windows Vista, as well as information on how to choose the right version of Vista for your specific needs. Other features include relevant news stories that concern Vista and it’s applications for music creation and audio production. Each version of Windows Vista (except Starter Edition) ships with a 32- and 64-bit version on the same disc, with the primary differences lying in multi-processor support and access to RAM. With that in mind, Cakewalk has posted a handy chart to help users compare the differences. Sounds like this might be a valuable resource for a lot of musicians. Check it out!
