If you’re the kind of adventurous Mac user that absolutely must have access to all the latest features, even if they’re not actually finalized, you just might want to download Apple’s new beta version of its latest OS X, code named Leopard. It’s a beefy download, so stay away if you don’t have broadband access (or a ton of time on your hands). There are many optimizations and this latest beta version is quite a bit more stable, but if you’re happy with your current Tiger OS X, you might want to keep a look out for version 10.4.11.
