McDSP has announced that its entire product line will be compatible with the latest Mac operating system, OS X Leopard, by the end of March. These new versions will also continue to support Mac OS 10.4 (known as Tiger). There will be no upgrade charges for registered owners of McDSP’s HD, Native, and LE product lines. Owners of Massive Pack 3 and Massive Pack 4 versions of McDSP products will need to upgrade to the HD versions to get Leopard support and other features. At the same time, McDSP will also be releasing updates for its entire product line. Significant enhancements in host-to-DSP communication have been made, making McDSP’s efficient plug-ins even more capable of handling extremely large sessions and extra-dense automation. Significant improvements are also being made in high sample rate DSP performance, Revolver optimizations, control surface metering, and Venue compatibility. New versions will be posted on the “Downloads” section of the McDSP website as they become available.
