GearFest is coming! Needless to say, there’s a ton of cool stuff at GearFest, no matter whether you’re a musician, a producer, or an engineer. But if you’re a guitar player, you’re definitely going to want to hit this year’s show. We’ve got a phenomenal lineup of artists coming in to give demonstrations and clinics. Check this out:
- David Ellefson (Megadeth) and Frank Bello (Anthrax) – two metal legends will be rocking Hartke bass gear.
- Super-picker Johnny Hiland will be coming to show off the amazing Eleven Rack from Avid.
- Rockabilly phenom Paul Pigat will be playing Gretsch guitars.
- Dave Weiner (from Steve Vai’s band) will be tearing it up on PRS guitars.
- The inimitable Greg Koch will be showing Fender guitars (sure to be an entertaining show!).
- Folk/Americana specialist Marcus Daniel will be here showing off Mesa/Boogie amps.
Plus, we’ll have manufacturer product specialists here to demonstrate their latest and best instruments:

And, Sweetwater’s own Mitch Gallagher will be giving a seminar on how to get great tone, with demonstrations of amps, guitars, and effects.
