A movable item used to mark a position. In electronic equipment a cursor is used in a display to show and/or control where the user is working, whether typing in text, drawing lines, or moving elements around some interface. The cursor is moved based on some user input, often in the form of pressing arrow keys, moving mouse, touch pad, etc.
