Spaghetti Logo

This is an affectionate reference to the earliest Fender logos, which had thin, rather stringy letters that many joked looked like spaghetti. These were used on Fenders built during the 1950s and into the 1960s. During the period in which the company was owned by CBS, a newer, somewhat bolder version was introduced. Today, Fender has, for the most part reverted to the original logo, however certain models continue to use the CBS-era logo.
