Though legal definitions are more rigidly specified, most of us consider the “end user” to be the final customer for a product — as opposed to the manufacturer, distributor, and so on. The end user (more than likely) purchases the product from a retailer and will be using it for its intended purpose(s). Also known as the “consumer.”
