Hook-and-loop Fastener

Sold under, and commonly known by a trademarked name that starts with a “V,” hook-and-loop fastener consists of two strips or pieces of cloth each covered on one side with half of the fastener “mechanism” — one side has a felt-like fabric, while the other has a “hooked” fabric that grabs hold and locks in. The back of each piece of the fastener is usually coated with a strong adhesive. Hook-and-loop fastener is used for several purposes in music/audio, including mounting stompboxes to pedalboards, for cable wraps, and more.
