If you buy the Roland VS-CDR, CD writer for your VS-880 you may need an upgrade to your VS-880 software to use it. The 3.1 upgrade does not come with the VS-CDR, but can be downloaded as a SMF and installed via your MIDI sequencer. You DO have one of those, don’t you? If you still have a version 1 VS-880 you will need to purchase the version 3 software, which now is at version 3.1 and supports the CDR.
