When you enable the Show Edits command, Peak will indicate any and all areas of an audio document that you have edited by enclosing these areas with hatched lined. This offers users a convenient visual reference so it’s easy to see which portions of the file have been affected by a user’s edits. However, once you save the file, the edits become a permanent part of the document and are saved, after which the indicators are no longer visible. To enable the Show Edits feature, choose “Show Edits” from the Options menu. A check next to this item indicates it is enabled.
