Q: I bought a used (but like new) Glyph SCSI drive off eBay, but the SCSI port in the back is unlike the 25- or 50-pin connectors on my other SCSI drives. Did I get the wrong hard drive?
A: The last generation of SCSI drives used smaller connectors ,which are generally called SCSI II or SCSI-2. This standard introduced higher-density connections. However, adapters are available, as are cables with SCSI II connectors on one end and standard 50-pin SCSI connectors on the other.
