Pollstar has released the grosses for the top 50 touring acts for 2010, as reported at DigitalMusicNews.com. Bon Jovi dominated both the North American and Worldwide charts, handily beating out the nearest competition by wide margins. Of interest, most of the acts in the top 50 on both charts are older, long-established artists; among the younger, “newcomers” are acts such as Lady Gaga, Justin Beiber, Taylor Swift, and Muse. The top 5 for North America:
1. Bon Jovi — 51 shows, $108.2 million, 1.2 million tickets
2. Roger Waters — 56 shows, $89.5 million, 710,000 tickets
3. Dave Matthews Band — 62 shows, $72.9 million, 1.3 million tickets
4. Micheal Buble — 73 shows, $65.7 million, 780,000 tickets
5. Eagles — 42 shows, $64.5 million, 446,000 tickets
