Also new to the pArtScience is SpaceCoupler. This is an acoustical treatment that creates a natural “large sound” within a small room footprint. Unlike current alternatives which involve custom design and remodeling, the SpaceCoupler works within the current room footprint for a fraction of the cost.
Designed by acoustic master Russ Berger for Auralex, SpaceCoupler can be dropped overhead into a drop ceiling, or mounted on or near a wall to enhance smaller rooms. As a side note, these look really great in person and give an impression of fine wood. It’s not often a project, home, or budget-minded professional studio can afford to have Russ Berger help design their room acoustics. Hat’s off to him and Auralex for these fine designs!
Features:
- Loosely Couples Spaces: Creates a natural “large sound” in an otherwise small room.

- including “T-Bar” grids.
- Beautiful Solid Wood Construction: Widely used for musical instruments and decorative finishes for over 1000 years, Paulownia wood has one of the highest strength-to-weight ratios of any wood in the world.
