Reviews

Great pedal
I won't lie, I was disappointed when I opened it and it didn't have that red background across the name of the pedal. Superficial disappointment...

But it sounds gooooooood. Gives your tone a nice color and can make your bass punchy or smooth. Still messing around with where it's going in my signal path and what settings give me what sounds. My playing varies a bit and this thing seems to be able to follow the needs of whatever style I'm playing in. I love the blend knob as well as the switchable low/full/mid compression. Really simple yet powerful, especially for those that really know compressors but like things to be simple.

This will definitely be a main component to my rig along with a preamp pedal. Everything else is variable on my board

Great choice, professional sound under $.
Great sounding compressor. I've always used rack compressors "DBX, BBE MaxCom, Eureka" and never thought of using compressor pedals until I broke down my setup for simplicity. I started using the Seymour Duncan Studio compressor as of 2018 and still use it. Mixing my natural tone with my compressed tone was a priority. The Seymour Duncan Studio compressor had everything I was looking for, a VCA-controlled compressor with simple core functions - Volume, Attack, Compression and Blending. The EQ switch works with the Blend and lets me sweeten my Mid, Full or Low end natural bass tone without affecting or mudding up my compressed tone. You can have more natural Mids or more natural Lows over your full compressed tone and blend them to taste or blend in your Full natural tone for a solid in the mix sound. Its easy to dial in your own tone and also shows you 6 compression settings to get you started. The Seymour Duncan Studio is a very good sounding compressor and delivers a professional sound under $.
Seymour Duncan Studio Compressor.
Excellent...!!

Simply the best pedal
That's a big statement but thats the truth. I've played many compression pedals and rack and if you want to be satisfied with not over complicating your stage presence, this pedal delivers quiet, full sustain for your bass tones. Built well and very professional grade.

Amazing product and service, Horrible shipping (USPS)
Perfect compressor for me, amazing service from Sweetwater. Only issue was UPS kicking this to USPS (who doesn't follow delivery times, will drop signature required stuff at the street, or lose items - all of which happened in the last 18 months). Luckily the box wasn't small enough to fit in a normal box, so they actually did deliver it to the door (no signature though). Could've gone horribly wrong but dodged a bullet. Thanks Sweetwater and Seymour Duncan for an amazing product!!!
