It seems NUX is also aware of this, as the company developed the Masamune boost and compressor pedal with a single goal: maximizing your guitar sound. On the Boost side, Level and Drive knobs control the color added to your signal, while the Hi-cut toggle cuts high frequencies when activated. On the other side, Kompressor features Level, Sustain, and Blend knobs to effectively manage the amount of compression on your signal, and the Clip toggle allows you to activate a soft compression for more headroom in the clipping range. Lastly, the NUX Masamune also houses tri-functional inside routing, which means Boost and Kompression can be used in parallel connection, single engagement, or ordered chaining.
